Free for Hopkins refuse customers in the City service area.

The drop off site is located at 3100 Hopkins Crossroads on the west side of Co Rd 73, about two blocks north of Minnetonka Blvd/Co Rd 5.

Requirements

  • A valid MN Driver's License, Minnesota ID or current paid utility bill must be shown to use the drop off site
  • Contract of commercial firms will not be allowed to use the site
  • Residents are required to unload and debag their materials at the site

2008 Hours (May 3 - November 29)

Saturdays, 9:00 am–3:00 pm
Wednesdays (through Nov 1), 2–7 pm

Brush Accepted

  • Tree limbs
  • Twigs and branches up to 6 inches in diameter and 15 feet long

Yard Waste Accepted

  • Leaves with twig stems not longer than 4 inches
  • Grass clippings
  • Similar garden waste

Material Not Accepted Curbside Or At Drop Off Center

  • Vines
  • Sod Waste
  • Animal Feces
  • Garden Products (please place unused garden products in your regular refuse container)
