Upcoming Park System Improvements

The City will undertake several park improvements in 2017

  • Replacement of the existing 26-year-old play equipment.  

The park will be closed while playground equipment is being replaced. Construction will be completed by June/July 2017.

  • Replacement of the existing 22-year-old play equipment. 

The park will be closed while playground equipment is being replaced. Construction will be completed by June/July 2017.

  • Rehab the existing 50-year old warming house
  • Construct a new splash pad pavilion with restrooms
  • New play equipment for two to five year olds
  • New park trails
  • New basketball court area
  • New splash pad play area. 

The Park area within the construction zone will be fenced off by the contractor. Primary park access will be from 2nd St. N. Construction will be completed by October 2017.
