In 1992, the Pavilion became one of the first indoor turf facilities in the western suburbs when it purchased indoor turf used by the Minnesota Strikers professional indoor soccer team. The turf was replaced with new artificial turf in 1998. More than 450 hours are used in the short two and half month season for adult soccer leagues, youth soccer clinics, youth lacrosse leagues, and rentals to private groups and organizations. The Pavilion's indoor turf provides the sports enthusiast a place to warm-up prior to the summer season while ignoring the outdoor climate.
The Hopkins Pavilion turf is available to rent for indoor baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, rugby, and football practices and games from March - mid-May. Please call 952-939-1410 to reserve your spot today.
