Hopkins, MN – The Hopkins Police Department is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for incidents of dog poisoning occurring in the 200 to 300 blocks of 9th and 10th Ave. N. Suspects are placing anti-freeze in dog food and blocks of poison in the yards of individuals with dogs.
The United States Humane Society is also offering a $5,000 reward for information regarding the incidents. Learn more in a press release on their website.
It is important for Hopkins residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious items or activity. Anyone with information should use the Tip411 app to send Hopkins Police an anonymous text, photo or video, or call Investigator Denny at 952-938-8885.
Hopkins Police also encourage anyone who suspects their dog has been poisoned to notify their veterinarian so that medical records can be obtained if necessary.
