The person listed on the permit as doing the work is responsible for calling for inspections. While every effort will be made to conduct inspections on short notice, we request that you allow at least 24 hours advance notice. This is particularly true during the busy construction months of April through October. When calling for an inspection you will be asked to provide the address, permit number and type of inspection you are requesting. Inspections are done 9:00 - 11:00 am and 1:00 - 4:00 pm and are scheduled every half hour. Please call 952-548-6320 (8:00 am - 4:30 pm) with questions, more information, or to request an inspection.
Special note: Inspection personnel will not enter an occupied dwelling unattended or when unsupervised children are present. Arrangements must be made to have an adult present during the inspection.
