HRA Minutes

August 6, 2007

A regular meeting of the Hopkins Housing and Redevelopment Authority was held August 6, 2007, at Hopkins City Hall.  Present were Chairman Eugene Maxwell, Commissioners Kristi Halverson and Bruce Rowan.  Cheryl Youakim was not present. Also present were Executive Director Rick Getschow, Assistant Executive Director Kersten Elverum, Finance Director Christine Harkess and City Attorney Jerry Steiner.

    The meeting was called to order at 7:28 pm.
  2. Open Agenda/Public Comments
    None
  3. Consent Agenda
    1. Approve minutes of the July 2, 2007, regular meeting
    2. Approve disbursements through July 31, 2007
    3. ITEM 2007-14  Approve First Amendment to Lease-Purchase Agreement Between HRA and City (Series 2007A Bonds)
      Chairman Maxwell asked Ms. Harkess to explain Item 2007-14. Ms. Harkess provided an overview, explaining this action is needed as a result of the refunding of HRA bonds.
          Commissioner Rowan moved, Commissioner Halverson seconded, to approve the consent agenda.  The motion was approved unanimously.
  4. Adjournment
    Commissioner Halverson moved, Commissioner Rowan seconded, to adjourn the meeting.  The motion was approved unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 7:32 p.m.
