The goal is to redevelop the vacant Supervalu property into an office development with an emphasis on:
- Job creation
- Structured parking to maximize green space
- Traffic oriented primarily to Excelsior Boulevard
The Hopkins Housing & Redevelopment Authority's goal is to have the site redeveloped with either a single-user corporate office facility or two to three office buildings totaling 450,000+ square feet constructed in accordance with an approved master plan.

Status/Issues
Opus Northwest purchased the Supervalu North Annex property on August 14, 2006. Opus developed a master plan for the site which will include approximately 740,000 square feet of office space. Groundbreaking was on October 24, 2006.
