The goal is to work with Hennepin County and the City of Minnetonka to design a roadway reconstruction plan that improves traffic flow on Shady Oak Road and provides redevelopment opportunities that benefit the City and adjacent property owners.
The planning effort began with a kick-off meeting in February 2005, and continues through 2007. A preferred alignment and subsequent preliminary design have been approved by the Cities of Hopkins and Minnetonka. Actual roadway reconstruction work is scheduled for 2013.
