Cancel your utilities (gas, telephone, electricity, etc.) by contacting each company that provides service to you.
Property owners need to call the Utility Billing office at 952-548-6332 to schedule a final water meter reading. If you are selling and/or moving out of a property, the City will finalize charges for all City services through date of the final water meter reading. The City will forward your final bill to your new address.
The owner of rental property is responsible for notifying the Utility Billing office when renters move in/out of the property. The owner of the property will be liable to the city for all bills accruing through the use of utility services whether used by the owner, renter/lessee, or other occupant.
