Garage sales are allowed in residential areas provided that no sale shall continue for more than three days and frequency shall not be greater than twice a year (Hopkins City Code 530.11b).
Garage Sale Signs
It is unlawful to put up any advertisements or other sign on any building, pole, or property not owned by that person without permission from the owner of the property (Hopkins City Code 2005.35). It is also unlawful to place signs in the public rights-of-way (Hopkins City Code 2005.31).
