Public Works crews will be collecting residents' holiday trees free of charge January 6 & 13, 2006 on the regularly scheduled refuse route day. After January 13, residents will have to call in collection requests for a Friday pick-up and they will be charged a fee of $8.00 for the service.
Trees from multi-housing, commercial or industrial properties will NOT be collected by the City. Arrangements for disposal should be made through their private refuse contract handlers.
- Trees must be placed on the boulevard for collection
- Wreaths or decorations containing metal will not be accepted (unacceptable waste may be disposed of in refuse container)
- Bags and stands must be removed
