History
Hopkins City Hall was once located on Mainstreet. Completed in 1912, it housed the City's Police Station and jail, Fire Station, City offices, library and meeting room. In 1965, City Hall, the Police Station and the Fire Station were destroyed and rebuilt at 1010 1st St S. The Fire Station is now located at 101 17th Ave S next to the Public Works facility, and the Police Station expanded into the old Fire Station space in City Hall.
