A regular meeting of the Hopkins Housing and Redevelopment Authority was held November 1, 2005, at Hopkins City Hall. Present were Chairman Eugene Maxwell, Commissioners Rick Brausen, Diane Johnson, Bruce Rowan, and Jay Thompson. Also present were Executive Director Rick Getschow, Assistant Executive Director Jim Kerrigan, Housing & Development Coordinator Kersten Elverum, and City Attorney Jerry Steiner.

  1. Call To Order
    Chairman Maxwell called the meeting to order at 7:20 pm.
  2. Open Agenda/Public Comments
    None
  3. Consent Agenda
    1. Approve minutes of the October 4, 2005, regular meeting
    2. Approve disbursements through October 31, 2005
      Commissioner Johnson moved, Commissioner Rowan seconded, to approve the consent agenda. The motion was approved unanimously.
  4. New Business
    1. ITEM 2005-16 Development agreement, Marketplace & Main Project
      Ms. Elverum provided an overview of the agreement and the specifics of the project. She stated that a tax increment pay-as-you-go note is detailed in the agreement.
        Commissioner Johnson moved, Commissioner Brausen seconded, to approve the contract for private redevelopment between the Hopkins Housing & Redevelopment Authority and Marketplace and Main, LLC. The motion was approved unanimously.
  5. Adjournment
    Commissioner Johnson moved, Commissioner Thompson seconded, to adjourn the meeting. The motion was approved unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 7:28 pm.
