A regular meeting of the Hopkins Housing and Redevelopment Authority was held June 15, 2004, at Hopkins City Hall. Present were Chairman Eugene Maxwell, Commissioners Rick Brausen, Diane Johnson, Bruce Rowan, and Jay Thompson. Also present were Executive Director Steve Mielke, Assistant Executive Director Jim Kerrigan, Housing and Development Coordinator Kersten Elverum, and City Attorney Jerry Steiner.

    Chairman Maxwell called the meeting to order at 7:20 pm.

    1. ITEM 2004-08 Restaurant tenant, Marketplace Lofts
      Mr. Kerrigan provided an overview of this item. Colleen Carey of The Cornerstone Group detailed their efforts to find a "white tablecloth restaurant." She provided information on Camille's Sidewalk Café. They would open in September/October if approved.
        Commissioner Rowan moved, Commissioner Brausen seconded, to authorize Marketplace Lofts, LLC, to execute a lease with Camille's Sidewalk Café to satisfy the requirements of Section 6.1, concerning a restaurant, of the Purchase and Redevelopment Agreement Between the Housing and Redevelopment Authority In and For the City of Hopkins, dated April 16, 2002. The motion was approved unanimously.
  6. Adjournment
    Commissioner Johnson moved, Commissioner Brausen seconded, to adjourn the meeting. The motion was approved unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 7:40 pm.
