A regular meeting of the Hopkins Housing and Redevelopment Authority was held June 1, 2004, at Hopkins City Hall. Present were Chairman Eugene Maxwell and Commissioners Rick Brausen, Diane Johnson, Bruce Rowan, and Jay Thompson. Also present were Executive Director Steve Mielke, Assistant Executive Director Jim Kerrigan, Housing and Development Coordinator Kersten Elverum, and City Attorney Jerry Steiner.

  1. Call To Order
    Chairman Maxwell called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

  3. Consent Agenda
    1. Approve minutes of the May 4, 2004, regular meeting
    2. Approve disbursements through May 31, 2004
      Commissioner Johnson moved, Commissioner Brausen seconded, to approve the consent agenda. The motion was approved unanimously.

  5. New Business
    1. ITEM 2004-07 Decertification of Tax Increment Districts 1-1, 2-7, and 2-8
      Mr. Kerrigan provided an overview of this item, including a Power Point slide presentation, which provided details of each district. Commissioner Brausen moved, Commissioner Rowan seconded, to adopt Resolutions 418, 419, and 420, facilitating the decertification of TIF Districts 1-1, 2-7, and 2-8, respectively. The motion was approved unanimously.

    Commissioner Thompson moved, Commissioner Johnson seconded, to adjourn the meeting. The motion was approved unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 7:28 pm.
