Hopkins Activity Center

The Hopkins Activity Center is a community facility with a gym, kitchen and meeting rooms used by residents for active or passive, large or small activities.

The Activity Center is a gathering place for mature adults to participate in organized as well as unorganized recreational, social, educational, nutritional, fitness, and volunteer activities. Many people call us the home of the Hopkins Senior Citizens program, where others refer to us as the “seasoned adult” program, because people “season” at all different ages and we offer a variety of programs to fit how “seasoned” you feel.

Individuals, groups, and businesses may rent the facility for a variety of activities: meetings, classes, business functions, support groups, social gatherings, basketball, flea markets, auctions, sales, birthday and anniversary parties, and wedding receptions.

From the north

Take 169 south to Excelsior Blvd, go west on Excelsior about 1 mile. Turn right at 11th Avenue. Go two blocks and turn left on Mainstreet. Go three blocks and turn right on 14th Avenue N. Activity Center entrance is the second driveway on your right.

From the south

Take 169 north to Excelsior Blvd, go west on Excelsior about 1 mile. Turn right at 11th Avenue. Go two blocks and turn left on Mainstreet. Go three blocks and turn right on 14th Avenue N. Activity Center entrance is the second driveway on your right.

From the west

Take Highway 7 east to 17th Avenue. Turn right on 17th Avenue. Go four blocks and turn left on 1st Street N. Go three blocks to 14th Avenue. The Activity Center is located in the southeast corner of the intersection.

From the east

Take 394 west to 169 south to Excelsior Blvd. Go west on Excelsior about 1 mile. Turn right at 11th Avenue. Go two blocks and turn left on Mainstreet. Go three blocks and turn right on 14th Avenue N. Activity Center entrance is the second driveway on your right.
