The Ohio husband and wife duo of Linford Detweiler and Karin Bergquist have developed a fanatical following with their evocative, earthy songwriting and impassioned delivery. Over The Rhine began as a conventional four-piece rock band but eventually pared down to its core duo. Their most recent CD, The Trumpet Child, opens with "I Don't Want To Waste Your Time" and that could be their motto—to write good songs that don't waste anyone's time.
