About the video

In 2008, the Hopkins Center for the Arts invited some of the Twin Cities' most-read arts writers to select emerging artists for a show (January 15-February 22, 2009) entitled "The Critics' Show." These writers then participated in a panel discussion at the opening reception on January 15.

The critics and their artists were:

• Susannah Schouweiler (Editor of access+ENGAGE and mnartists.org)

• Gregory J. Scott (Lead Arts Writer for Vita.mn)
  Artist: Ruben Nusz
• Scott Stulen (Project Director for mnartists.org at the Walker Art
  Center)
  Artists: Beatarix JAR, Erik Ullanderson
