Postal Impressions 2010: CANDYGRAM!
This mail art show is open to everyone of all ages!
June 24–August 1, 2010
Reception: June 24, 6-8pm
To participate:
- Create something to which you can adhere stamps and send it through the mail to us. (Do not enclose your artwork in an envelope or container. If you choose to push the boundaries of mail art, please check with your local post office to make sure you can mail it at an affordable rate.)
- Incorporate candy or candy wrappers into the piece (please do not use materials that will melt or disintegrate in the mail).
- Create art appropriate for a family audience.
- Mail your artwork by Friday, June 11, 2010, to CandyGram, Hopkins Center for the Arts, 1111 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MN 55343.
To claim your work after the show, you must pick it up on Tuesday, August 3, 2010. HCA is not responsible for loss or damage of submitted items. Work that does not meet the above criteria will not be displayed.
