Statewide Elections
Federal and state elections are conducted in even years. For information about elections and elections results go to the the Minnesota Secretary of State's Office website.
City Elections
City mayoral and council elections are held in November of odd-numbered years. The Hopkins City Council is composed of the Mayor who is elected for a two-year term, and four City Council members, who are elected for four-year terms. All five members of the City Council are elected at large.
